I think it would be really interesting to see the reaction of all the people in this country who argue AGAINST the separation of church and state. They're all against it as long as they're under the impression that it would benefit THEIR religious beliefs. As soon as they see it in action benefitting someone ELSE'S religious beliefs, my bet is that they will be rioting in the streets about it. Maybe all those who are so critical of the atheist insistence that religion and government be kept apart might start realizing that we've been protecting THEM, too.
