Question:

What would you do if you were sitting on the toilet and the fire alarm went off?

Had someone pull the fire alarm a little while ago because she saw smoke which was actually steam coming out of the dryer vent because it's cold out. I was on my way to the bathroom when this happened. My question is: If you were sitting on the toilet doing your business of number 2 and the fire alarm went off, would you: A) Say, Screw it! and finish your business? B) Pull up your pants and run out of there and don't mind what anyone says about you smelling like poop? I guess it's a choice between pride and death. What would you do?

Answer:

Uh, well, nice list, it must have taken you a long time to cut and paste that. However, they said oil for energy. Not all oil. So, yeah, that must be disappointing for you. Nice list though.
We'll always need some form of oil. We'll harness the wind, we'll use more solar, etc. etc., but I don't see the elimination of jet fuel anytime soon.
They should have hit Juan with a tranquilizer dart and tossed him back into Mexico.
You'll never be able to completly live without oil, there are a few things that can only be made from petroleum. But, almost everything you mention can be made, and made better, from non-petroleum sources. You can make plastic from plants.
Copper prices have gone through the roof, $ 1100 a ton, personally I would go for the new plastic, with just copper where it shows.
