Question:

Whats cold air intake on car?

and what other types of air intakes are there? Whats the difference?thanks!

Answer:

takes more air in the car.
DO NOT DRIVE ON IT. you will ruin the rim. as in you just got it a month ago. they will most likely go good for it. you will need your reciept . if you have the means take it off the car ( Blown tire and rim) bring it back to the place
Did you get the insurance on them? Was it a road hazard or did it fail? Were they new or retreads? Check your warranty/receipt- call the place you got them from pronto! Use your spare- do not drive on rims or you'll have to replace them. Did you use a can of Fix-a-flat to try to get it inflated?
puts colder air into the engine for combustion. colder air it's more dense you can fit more into the engine more powerful combustion slightly improved horsepower and sometimes slightly improved fuel efficiency
A cold air intake is an aftermarket assembly of parts used to bring relatively cool air into a car's internal-combustion engine. Most vehicles manufactured since the mid-1970s have thermostatic air intake systems that regulate the temperature of the air entering the engine's intake tract, providing warm air when the engine is cold and cold air when the engine is warm to maximize performance, efficiency, and fuel economy. Aftermarket cold air intake systems are marketed with claims of increased engine efficiency and performance. The putative principle behind a cold air intake is that cooler air has a higher density, thus containing more oxygen per volume unit than warmer air.
