Question:

Whats FN On the Keyboard?

FN? Computer? Keyboard? Confused

Answer:

Desktop computers have maybe 101 or 102 keys on them. Laptops don't have as much room. I assume you have a laptop. In order to get to the extra keys your computer didn't come with, you have to hold down on the Fn key and hit an existing key. Typically the Fn is printed in another color, like say blue, and other keys will have some additional symbol printed in blue, which is what you will get if you hold down on the Fn key and hit that key. Some keys, like the Function keys (F1, F2, etc.) will have special functions like say to turn your wireless ethernet on/off, adjust the volume, etc.
The Fn key is the function key. If you're using a laptop, you may have one. If you take a look at your keyboard, you may notice little numbers or symbols on some of the keys. If you hold the Fn key and then press a key with a symbol or number, something may be entered or changed or something like that.
Just press the Fn key simultaneously with the hotkey for the function you need.
When you hold it it activates the secondary functions of the keys. The secondary functions are usually written in smaller type and often a different color.
FN stands for function. It is used simultaneous with other keys.
