for under $1200. getting it for my sixteenth birthday so that is my budget. must be a laptop. thanks in advance
Gaming laptop? There is no such thing for 1200 bucks! You want a true gamer laptop? You better have 2500 bucks.
the best gaming laptop would have to be from Alienware, a company that specializes in making computers for gaming purposes. However, you're not going to get anything worthwhile with your budget, because even the most basic Alienware laptop (Area-51 m15x 15.4 inches) comes for $1199 without tax, so unless your parents will cover the taxes for you as well, you'd best be sticking with an Acer (cheaper so you can customize it to have good graphics, RAM, and processor, but not too dependable)
you aren't gonna get a gaming laptop comp that is worth anything for 1200 bucks or under man. Just bite the bullet and get a desktop comp, you'll thank yourself in 6 months when you need to upgrade the video card for newer games that come out.
