I need a good vacuum for my floors - right now I sweep every night - then i swiffer wet jet or clean with wipes on my hands and knees. Im very OCD about my floors being clean as you can tell - Ive tried the BISSELL stick Vacuum for hardwood floors but it is worthless - the basic broom seems to work the best but still doesn't get everything... what is the best Lightweight inexpensive vacuum out there for that type of flooring.... thanks guys for your info!
Try the Dyson DC14. For someone like you, it's mandatory cleaning equipment. It's pricey, but I think it's exactly what you're looking for.
I have a Dyson, the pink one. And it works great. It was expensive but I've had it for almost 4 years now and it the best vaccum I've owned. It's well worth the money though. Lifetime filter and to bags to buy either.
I use an Oreck vacuum on my hardwood floors. I've had many vacuum cleaners in my life and now only use and Oreck, its the best IMO. It's lightweight so you don't feel like you're hauling a monster around, easy maneuverable, suction power is fantastic, the service is great too. Just an excellent cleaner.
