Question:

Whats the best way to get blood out of your carpet?

Theres lot of blood on my carpet

Answer:

Follow these steps to remove blood stains from Carpet/Synthetic, Carpet/Wool, or Foam Rubber: Mix 1 teaspoon of a mild, non-alkali detergent with 1/2 pint lukewarm water. Add a small amount to the stain and blot the liquid. Do not force the stain further into the fibers. Continue blotting until no more stain is removed. If stain remains, add 1 tablespoon ammonia to 1 cup water (do not use on wool), sponge stain, and blot liquid. Continue until no more stain is removed. Place an absorbent pad over the damp area and weight it down. When no more liquid is drawn out, remove the pad and allow it to air dry thoroughly.
Call your local police dept. and ask who they recommend. You may have to answer a few other questions as well.
Call a certified professional hot water carpet/upholstery cleaner. to locate this pro near you. They have the equipment, solutions, and know how to remove stains from carpeting. This stain is best handled with enzymes, followed by extraction, rinsing of the stain. A product called Absorb a Stain is then poured over the stained area to absorb any wick up that may occur. The Absorb a stain is then vacuumed off the carpet a day later when everything has dried. Protect your carpet investment, do this project right.
