Whats the best way to take care of a ceramic frying pan so it doesn‘t flake off material into your food?Whats the best way to keep it so it last a long time? When I cook eggs I don‘t use any oil I just put some water on the pan and cook my eggs that way, and when I do use oil I use a little and only for like chicken or burgers,

Answer:

Can sent it to the workshop and see if there is any way to make it high
as mentioned before, enter diagonally and slowly. that should almost always do the trick
Ceramic or Teflon coated frying pan will last long if the surface is not scratched like using strong washing detergent, scotch brite, very high heat, metal instruments, leaving marks etc will ruin the surface. Gentle soap and warm water to wash with a sponge after use, wipe dry with a soft dry material etc will preserve and those pans will last for sometime not forever though
Ceramic frypans will not flake Never, never, never use high heat, metal kitchen tools and wipe clean, or rinse and wipe clean. I would estimate 85% of all frypans are out of shape because of high temperatures. The best test is when you drop and egg into the centre it will slide to the side and the white will follow the edge around. The other test to do is simple add some water to it and a little at a time and see how much water it takes to cover the centre I have my own separate steak pan as I oil the steak and fry it over high heat both sides at the start and then reduce the heat. As a result what fat the steak has runs away from under the steak to the edge Chetak
ceramic coatings cannot flake off unless you hit them or drop them and crack the coating, then you might as well trash them. Like anything else ceramic or glass it is then killed pot! So use the ceramic just as if you had cast iron plain, no coating. Wipe it with damp cloth when cooled and put away. Do not wash if you only use it for one thing like cooking eggs. My egg pan does not cook bacon or chicken or burgers! I have other pans for those things.
