I need to find a way for a couple of very expensive hand-me-down sofas to stop moving on the marble floor. They have small wheels and scoot around the room when you get up. The wheels are not very easy to remove and will change the sofa height!Anyone know of a solution?
First, if you just stop the wheels from rolling, the sofa will still move on the marble floor and scrape the floor. Here is what to do. First get some rubber casters to place under each leg, preferable ones with sides to it. This will protect the floor. Second, stop the wheel from rolling by taking some folded paper and stuffing it into the wheel at the top so it jams the wheel and it can't roll.
