Question:

when i hit the button on my remote for my car alarm it doesnt make a sound anymore?

its not factory installed and never had a problem before. it always beeped twice when it was unlocked and beep once when it was locked. the beep sound is not the horn tho. help!

Answer:

Somehow the chirp confirmation for when you arm/disarm your alarm has been altered. Within your instruction manual you may find a way to change the setting back to the way you had it when the alarm was originally installed. Otherwise, you'll have to bring it back to the place where you had it installed to have them change it back. At the very least, you can confirm there isn't something wrong with the alarm altogether (which is another possibility).
does the alarm engage when set with the remote? if so, who cares if it beeps.
purely once, because i do not elect the alarm on. the reason i do not elect the alarm on is because i do not elect it going off even as i'm contained in the shop purely because someone brushed the fringe of my automobile. so a lengthy way as my cellular telephone, I in no way contact the carry up button. I truly have a slider telephone and it hangs up once you slide it down.
