She was out of control. If I were that cop, I probably wouldn't have punched her, but I would have tackled her to the ground. I think he was well within reasonable force. If my kid was acting like that with a police officer and he punched her, I wouldn't be taking any legal action. But then again, there is NO way my kids would ever act like that.
