Question:

Where are DYSON vacuum cleaners made?

nan

Answer:

I don't know where they are made, but I can tell you that they are the best vacuum on the market! I love them and wish I had the money to buy one for myself. My old boss had one and it picked up everything off of every surface, even the dog hair. I used to love sweeping his office/house just cause I got to use the vacuum.
James Dyson set up the Dyson company. In June 1993, he opened a research centre and factory in Wiltshire. Initially, all Dyson vacuum cleaners and washing machines were made in Malmesbury, Wiltshire, England. In 2002, the company transferred vacuum cleaner production to Malaysia. As Dyson was the only major manufacturer in Wiltshire, this move aroused much heated condemnation in the British press. Despite promises that washing machine production would continue in the UK, that portion of production was moved to Malaysia a year later. Nearly 800 British manufacturing jobs were lost; however, Dyson's research and development (and the resultant technical jobs) remains in Wiltshire.
Germany, that's one of the reasons they cost so much. It's not necessarily that they are the best...they just have to get shipped a long way. When I bought my new house and I was picking out carpets the woman told me not to buy a Dyson. She said the suction is too hard and it tears the carpet up.
