My girlfriend says she wants an item of quartz jewellery. I know quartz is a gemstone, but not sure much else beyond that. Does anyone know where I can get quartz jewellery, preferrably in London? Thanks.
granite will last but it does chip. once it chips and its a slab u will eventually have to replace the slab. quartz sounds like a unique idea but comes with the same problems as granite. corian i don't think chips or cracks so it will last u longer than both quarts and granite and slightly less expensive. and you could get a quarts or granite look from corian.
corian is the best, granite and quartz will crack and chip over time.
Granite will add a lot of value to your home. Corian is good also, but granite really is the hottest counter top now.
Without a doubt Granite. Corian is too pricey for a man made product. Granite will last forever if you seal it every couple of years (very easy to do) You can put a hot pan down on it, you cannot scratch it. You can clean it easily... I wouldn't even consider having corian. And quartz...why bother it's almost the same price as Granite, and not as strong. It can chip easily.
I like corian, granite and quartz, will crack. I know, I know they always say that granite is the strongest most durable. But I know when a coffee can comes crashing out of the cabinet,, it ain't that strong! Go with Corian
