I think what you are describing would make a good herbal tea, you could dry them and they would keep a long time. But it would not be the same. How about buying some concentrated lemon juice, or lime juice.
Kafir lime leaves are very strong in fragrance and usually used in Thai curry. You can infuse the kafir lime leaves in your water but it does not taste or smell like regular lime or lemon. The juice of the kafir lime is very strong in fragrance, bitter and very sour unlike regular lime or lemon maybe sour but not bitter. I have a big kafir lime tree too and besides using the leaves for making Thai curry and other dishes, the leaves are dried to make potpourri and the fruits are chopped and grind in the garbage disposal as air fresherner . For juice, it#x27;s better to buy those concentrated lime or lemon juice in the bottle, if the fresh ones are expensive #x27;
