where can i get super bulky yarn?

i found some sites where its sold but i am looking for stores where i can get it in various colors.

Answer:

The only people complaining about steel cased ammo really is those people using it in AR15sSteel cased ammo companies like Wolf used to apply a ton of lacquer to their casingsThis coating would melt off and gum up the chambers on AR15s.also causing stuck casingsSo they earned a bad rep and thus their automatically bad for all firearms Steel cased ammo was used by the U.Sand other countries like China and RussiaBut the U.Sswitched to Brass around WWII but don't quote meBrass is a self lucubrating type metal which doesn't need a coatingAnyhow, the rest of the world continues to make steel cased ammo ating or no coating, it doesn't seem to effect the AK47The AK47 has become a very popular rifle here in the U.Sover the yearsSteel cased ammo has just grew in popularity.
Why do they still make them? The answer is that by they you are probably refering to the Chinese or some other third world country that exported the ammo to the USAI've used steel cased rounds in an SKS and AK-47 rifleThey shot just fineBut I would never want to use those steel cases in any of my better riflesWhy? Because the idea of steel on steel inside the chamber of my rifle would mean that it would start to wear at the steel chamber of my rifleThat's not a problem for the Chinese military, that uses cheap AK-47s that they make in their communist factoriesSo, the answer to your question on why they make themBecause it is cheap and they make them for military purposes, where their recruits are expendable and so are their riflesThe whole military doctrine of most communist countries is to throw as many people at the enemy as possible; they simply don't care about casualties because of their large populations.
Because there not badAll the things people say about steel casing are simply not trueThe steel is a milder type which is around the same hardness as brass so the saying that the extractor and chamber and everything else it comes in contact with will wear faster is a load of crapBut people still believe it.
Joanns, Michaels, Hobby Lobby and Hancock Fabrics all sell superbulky yarn of various typesSome Walmarts with larger craft sections do as well, and you can probably find it at AC Moore and Benjamin Franklins as well.
Maybe not bad but can cause more wearPerhaps the priming is corrosive as in WW 2 German 9mmsteel casedFired some myself in about 1980None misfired despite the ageBeen around awhile Jesse
