No where near a fir hydrant but also no where near a marked parking space I'd bet! Is it possible your vehicle was partially blocking a building entrance or exit? Blocking proper access to parking areas? Parked in a fire lane or red zone reserved for emergency response vehicles? Pay the ticket, park in a space next time and be thankful that your car was not towed and impounded.
most hard wired smoke detectors have a backup 9 v battery inside. When this backup battery gets weak you will get false alarms. usually the false alarm will be just one or two chirps.
