Question:

where is the air intake hose on a chrysler 1990 labaron?

if it has a hole would that cause the car to loose mpg's?

Answer:

The air intake hose pulls air from the front radiator support area through the PCM (drivers side inner fender well) back of the battery across the top of the transaxle and to the air box/ throttle body, intake manifold and into the combustion chamber. A hole in the intake tube or hose before the Throttle body will not likely cause a drop in mileage. I would look to the state of tune (ignition components, plugs, wires, etc.) O2 sensor, and air and fuel filters. An engine that runs cold ( thermostat stuck open, or missing) can cause a dramatic drop in mileage.
