It is embedded, and cannot be removed. You would have to replace your entire laptop to replace the battery.
Nice bluff, dimebag. Actually, I don't have experience with hp models, but my laptop has a removable battery module. (eMachines)
The battery is located at the bottom of the laptop, there is a laptop switch right next to it to remove the battery.
at the bottom of laptop. you see some sliding switches. The switch with a cell symbol adjacent to it is the battery lock. Slide this lock (when laptop power is off), battery will pop out.
