I‘m building my house and I need as much Iron as possible. I used all my iron making iron daggers. (im sure you know why) I only have discovered a few mines, but I‘ve drained them all of their ore. What is the best place to buy ingots/ore quickly? I‘m playing on PC, too, if that makes a difference.

Every Smithy, and in Whiterun at the shop across the street from the smithy and in the general store. And if you were 'good' at the start in Riverwood at the Smith under the workbench every few days. I find a lot of merchants sell the ore and you have the smelter in Whiterun.
