Question:

Where is the resistance, effort and fulcrum on a wheel & axle?

If you have a wheel and axle simple machine, like a doorknob, where would the resistance force, the effort force, and the fulcrum be? Thank you!

Answer:

confusing stuff. check out from yahoo or google. that will help!
The wheel is the resistance on the road. The effort force is the forward momentum needed to pull the wheel. The fulcrum is the axle on which the wheel turns and connects the wheel to its load and transmits momentum.
