Question:

Does it bother you to buy clothing made in sweatshops, like the one in Bangledesh?

where the workers make the equivalent of .24 an hour and there is very little to no safety regulations? (referring to the news story about the collapse of the clothing factory)Would you pay more for clothing made in a safe environment?Your gender?

Answer:

No, he should not be doing all that stuff at such a young age. When my daughter is 21months old, I will certainly not be letting her climb around, unlock doors, push furniture around the house, play video games, and call us by our first names. She will not be watching any movies at six months, and I definitely wouldn't have let her eat a breadstick at 2 1/2 months. But, that's just my opinion. However, if your son is speaking in long sentences, naming his shapes and colors, recognizing words (this doesn't include the McDonald's logo), and beginning to write, then he may well be deemed gifted when he enters school. Good luck with your advanced child.
Do you have a family? Do you intend to keep them safe? Then what are you waiting for? Sense safe after understanding how to protect yourself with this plan
Sounds pretty typical for his age. As mom's we all believe our own children are the smartest and best looking in the world. (I certainly do!) That's how God intended it to make sure we take excellent care of them. There's no harm in loving your child with all your heart and believing him to be the best and brightestjust remember you're the only one who believes this, except for maybe his father and grandparents. All other moms believe THEIR baby is the best and will take your bragging as a personal attack. Lighten up, everyone.
For once I actually agree with K. I hate to break it to you but those all sound like normal behavior to me. You'll see if he is really gifted when he starts school. By the way it seems like you put him in front of the TV, computer, video games WAY too much.
This sounds like your child is a normal 21 month old, but that doesn't mean you should be any less proud of him. He's a special gift just like every child is. There is nothing wrong with showing off your child's abilities and its just wrong and mean for people to shot you down because of this. God forbid a child should call you by your 1st name, push chairs about or watch tv (note the sarcasm).
