i have a system and everyone has told me i need to upgrade to better alternator because my lights dim when the bass hits. can anyone tell me where i can find a performance alternator for a descent price. checked auto zone and advanced already thanks

Instead of going to a ' discount store ', try your nearest auto elec. repair shop. ( yellow pages ) These folks are usually good knowledgeable.
eBay baby I got mine there for about the same price that a local shop would charge me for a new one. The only difference is that the shop would keep my original. On eBay I got to keep mine as a back up. If you do get a high output alt. you'd be glad you did but you gotta make sure you upgrade the big 3 well good luck!
