Question:

which bottles are better glass or plastic?

i heard some plastic bottles are being re-called, what kind/brand should i buy for my baby?

Answer:

I think plastic bottles are better and i always use the ones that have a curve at the top because the baby can get the milk he or she needs without you having to turn the bottle all the time.
i dont like the glass bottles. Dr. Browns is pricey but they have the best bottles out there i think. the baby barely gets any air if they were to get air. you can try the avent, ive always been a fan of those, but my daughter cant use them, as she is a little tongue tied, and they frustrate her.
After finding the playtex drop-ins caused my baby to have some bad reflux and colic. I switched him to the Dr. Brown's Bottles. One of the best investments I ever made. I've heard that the playtex vent aire work just as well as the dr. brown's but at half the cost. I didn't used the playtex vent aire on my son.
I have glass bottles with the rubber casing so they don't break if dropped. They are able to be sterilized way better than any plastic bottle. But plastic bottles are fine. I think you are referring to the BPA in plastic bottles. All of the bottle companies have been coming out with new BPA free bottles so any plastic bottle is fine really. Evenflo bottles work fine and they are on the cheaper side, now if you want to buy and expensive brand (if that makes a difference) try Born Free bottles.
I don't think any plastic bottles are being recalled. What you may be referring to is BPA, and a lot of plastic bottles contained it. Now, most bottle companies are coming out with a BPA free version and taking the old ones off the shelves. I wouldn't buy glass ones, they are breakable and dangerous. I would buy BPA free plastic ones.
