I have some crowns now will be having more crown work done soon. Will laminates work as well, as long, as crowns usually do? Also, is there a big difference in price?
In the old-days there were two styles of motorcycle helmets. Half-helmets, now called beanies, which are still popular with the H-D/cruiser crowd, and 3/4-helmets, now called open-face helmets. The 3/4-helmet had 5 snaps, 3 on to and 2 on bottom, where a clear or tinted bubble shield would snap over the opening. When MX first came to the U.S. (late-60's/early-70's) most racers wore a 3/4-helmet. A small visor would snap onto the 3 upper snaps and a Joffa mouth-guard would snap onto the 2 lower snaps.
