Question:

Which is the best vacuum to pick up dog hairs?

My dog sheds year round, but even more so in the summertime. I've gone through several vacuum cleaners that work at first, then stop altogether. I dismantle the hose and clean out the hairs if they clog but I can't get adequate. What could be wrong? Can you recommend a vac that really picks up pet hair effectively?

Answer:

I gotta love my Dyson! It is SO easy to see clogs in the clear hose. Any part that curves has a quick detach to check. It sucks great and picks the hair up no problem. No bags to buy and it really does not loose suction. I have had mine for six years now and am just as happy today as I was when I bought it.
Dyson's are the most expensive vaccum cleaners that can be found in retail stores and they do a darn good job. But if you're looking for the hands down BEST multi purpose vaccum cleaner then I would highly suggest buying a Kirby. You should be able to find a Kirby retailer somewhere in your area, just google Kirby vaccums. They are pricey, but they are the best and last forever, please believe this! BTW, it's been a long time Bomb, hope everything is going well for ya. Just recently got back from another great visit to JA. I already miss Ultimate Jerk Centre food and Ting, as I always get carried away when I'm there. Always so sad to leave :( ONE LOVE.

The Dyson. By far the best vacuum I have ever owned and the BEST at cleaning up pet hair.
Hello, Well, fist off CKC means canadian kennel club and if anything they would have less health issues since they are purebred. Speaking, I'm assuming that you live in Canada. I don't think you will be able to find what you are looking for for cheap from a breeder, so try looking on a local classifields or kijiji. If you are looking for a kind, gentle, sweet, intelligent, easily trainable breed, consider the beagle. They are small sized, and very intelligent and family oriented. They also make excellent sniffer dogs. They are very easy to train and you can find them for a low price. Also, they have very few generally known health issues. Just a tip, I would wait until the baby is born before getting a dog or puppy. It will be like having twins! But it's your call. Good luck with the search!
