Question:

Which Laptop Graphic Card Is Better?

Getting a laptop and I can't chose between these two laptops with different specs. Which is better?Laptop 1:Intel? Core? i5-540M 2.53GHz (3.06Ghz Turbo Mode, 3M cache)512MB NVIDIA? GeForce? GT 240M4GB Dual Channel DDR3 at 1066MHzLaptop 2:Overclockable Intel? Core? i7 640UM (4M Cache, 2.266 GHz Max Turbo Frequency)4GB Dual Channel DDR3 at 800MHz1GB NVIDIA? GeForce? GT 335MWhich GPU is better and which CPU is better? I know the 1066MHz RAM is better already. Thanks in advance.

Answer:

both are good, but the cpu and graphics are both faster on laptop 2, the ram speed won't make a huge difference anyway. they are both good, either one would work fine, but if you are a gamer, go with #2
The first laptop has better RAM clock. But for CPU and GPU, the second laptop is considerably better. So if you want to be able to do the gaming and stuff, then the second laptop is definitely better.
Hi, It all depends on your usage plan. answer the following qs using yes/no 1. Want to do some graphical operations(Video editing / create animations)? 2. Do u want to play high res games? 3. Do both of the configurations cost you same? 4. Do u need Graphical operations faster than regular operations? If most of your Answers come yes, Then you can go for Laptop 2. If most of your Answers come then you can go for Laptop 1. **** Remember, This is just a suggestion not a decision. It is you who should take the decision. Best of luck.
I have a feeling that Laptop 2 is alienware m11x, laptop 1 has better CPU than laptop 2 but laptop 2 has a more powerful GPU, if you're going to use it for gaming, I'm going to say that laptop 1 is on par with laptop 2, some games are CPU dependent which will benefit from laptop 1's better CPU the same way as GPU dependent games benefit from laptop 2's GPU to make it more generic RTS games benefit from laptop 1 while shooting games benefit from laptop 2, but if I were to choose, I'll take laptop 1, a CPU can perform GPU tasks but a GPU cannot perform some CPU tasks
