The parking lights are for a rare situation if you're parking where there's poor lighting and you want to make your car more visible (obviously for short periods of time), they will draw less from the battery than the headlights. Hazard Lights are the flashers as most people call them, and they are not going to helped you in a tunnle, and Spot Lights are like the ones on the side of fire eqiuptment, police cars, and on the top of some off road vehicles, and they are not for street use, nor are the Hazard Lights,except when the trafic slows , or you are off of the road with repairs. It would be dangerous to attempt a tunnel with just flashing lights, or lights that blind the oncoming taffic, both of those senerios are scary.
