Answer:

i used to have think wavy hair too and i hated it cuz i permed it so i went to an asian saloon and the girls used magic straight, so it will stay put permanatly and you can change your mind anytime you want if you want to change itbut be prepared to spen around 120 bucks for it cuz it's pretty expensive but worth also don't do magic straight if you have highlights cuz the formula damages highlights and makes highlights all frizzly and you can also get gloss on ur hair too, it's also a substance that makes her hair very shiny and smooth i hope this helps
im the same way in my opinion u dont need an expensive hair straightner to do the trick the one that i hav i only paid 50$ at walmart (and i luv it) also u should use some kind of heat protcting spray in ur hair i use TRESemmé heat tamer spray (only like 3$ at drugstires) it work really well and smells good too straightin ur hair in sections pull half of it up and straightin the bottom layer and then pull nother layer down and straighin that(keep goin until its mostly straight) then wat i do is i pull my hair back into pigtails and straightin the pigtales (this make it smoother and straighter and then ur done and it wont cost over 100$

I use a CHI hair straightener, which, in my opinion is the best straightener on the market, and well worth the money it costsTo make sure that I get all of my hair straightened, I clip up sections of my hair with those big styling clips that they use at the hair stylist's place to cut layers in your hair (you can find them anywhereI got some at the grocery storeThey're big and silver) and clip up your hair leaving one thin bottom layeronce you have straightened the bottom, add another curly layer and straighten itRepeat this with all of your layers of hair, all over your head, and you'll be good.
