Paper, cut more trees but recyclable. Plastic, it is also recyclable. So...which one?
Paper because its biodegradable, but its better to use a large canvas bag to save paper, not contaminate the world with plastic and its stronger so it will hold more.
Since Yahoo! Answers sent me that great canvas tote bag, this has never been an issue for me! Prior to that, I used my backpack, but barring that I like paper which is biodegradeable. I can use it for a garbage bag and if the landfills aren't so packed tight that things can't biodegrade, then the bag and garbage can.
You can alway plant more tree to make paper. Big portion of plastic is petroleum based. I will take paper. Also, paper decompose much faster than plastic.
Paper made from recycled material, but really I love my cloth bag I got from Yahoo Answers the Best!
