Answer:

You can actually use any favorite apple pie recipe and sprinkle the cheese on top before bakingIf you're using a double crust or a crumb crust, sprinkle a bit of cheese on top of the crust alsoThis also works on store bought piesYou can just sprinkle a bit of cheese on top and put them under the broiler for a couple minutes until the cheese is melted.

That recipe looks wonderful fishineasyI might give that a tryYours too KateWish I knew if you've both made those recipesMy mom used to serve her warm, home made apple pies, with a little cream (not whipped) poured over the top, and with a slice of a good sharp cheddar on the sideThe combination of the sweet with the sharp cheddar flavors was A-MAZING!! Don't cringe folksit's not all that weirdThey are all flavors and textures that go very well togetherA really good, sharp cheddar is key too.
It will depend on how hard you throw themA paper airplane should travel farther if you throw it lightly, since the lift generated will keep it in the air longerAn aluminum airplane will travel much farther if you throw it faster, since it's weight will make it more difficult to slow down (for the air)If you throw it somewhere in between, then they may be exactly the same, or too little difference to notice.
