Question:

which properties would allow you to distinguish between the substances in each of the following pairs?

steel and aluminium2, soda drink and water

Answer:

Already fixed and ready to go? Don't know for sure what that meansIf it's cooked already? But if it's a raw turkey always cover with tin foil and/or the cover on the roaster for the majority of the hoursBut to crisp it up the last half our or hour I always take the tin foil and the cover off to brown itBaste it during that time with the juicesCrisp up the skin, etc.
YesAlways cook your turkey in the oven with aluminum foil! Stay safe! We don't want anyone to get hurt during Thanksgiving! :]
This Site Might Help YouRE: Do i put my turkey in the oven with Aluminum Foil or no? i bought a turkey and its already fixed and everything but do i put it in the oven with aluminum foil or not? .i don't know how to cook yet.so i don't want to burn down the house
Depending on how much of the substance you had, you can use the fact that steel is magnetic, and aluminium is notI'm not really sure of the composition of soda drink to be able to help with the secondIf as Sarah suggests it is usually fizzy, then I guess the fizz is usually carbon dioxide, which may leave a slightly acidic mixture after the fizz has gone.
