Perlite, sphagnum (peat) moss (although, moisture might be a challenge). There's a technique that can be used with incubators called substrate-free or substrateless - a search should find the details of it. There's also a product on the market called Hatch-Rite. Again, an internet search should find a few places where you can get it. Good luck.
Sphagnum moss or even damp paper towels will work. I have hatched hundreds of gecko eggs on damp paper towels.
