They worked like a month ago, but now when I turn them on they won‘t move. If I turn them on and pull on the wipers by hand they‘ll go up and down once or twice then stop moving even in the up position. It‘s on a 1989 Chevy S-10 2WD.
wiper motor itself is getting weak and needs replaced
More than likely the winshield wiper motor is bad. You can discontect the wires from the windshield wiper motor and hot wire it to make sure its bad. I just had to replace mine today.
Your windshild wiper motor, it should be right where your hood latches on, under that cover probably,
