Plastic food storage containers also provide great convenience for those on the go. When you make a great meal, your family can continue to enjoy that wonderful food at home, at school and at the office by bringing those leftovers with them when they are on the move. Plastic storage containers provide an easy way to transport those leftovers from place to place, with no leaks and no spoilage. Keeping an assortment of plastic food storage containers around the house will make reheating those leftovers and sharing them with family members that much easier. The next time you host a dinner party or other event, you can use those plastic food storage containers to send every guest home with their personal favorite dish.

Plastic wrap contains di(ethylhexyl)adepate (DEHA), considered a carcinogen, is found in plastic wrap. Also when microwaving plastic wrap, xenoestrogen was migrating into the oil. Xenoestrogens are linked to low sperm counts in men and to breast cancer in women. ********This applies to all plastics both containers and wrap We should not be heating our food in the microwave using plastic containers or plastic wrap. This applies to foods that contain fat, as the combination of fat, high heat and plastics releases dioxins into the food and ultimately into the cells of the body. Saran wrap placed over foods as they are nuked, with the high heat, actually drips poisonous toxins into the food. Use paper towel instead. The Tupperware line is microwave safe.
