Question:

Why can't I access my volume control?

I lost my volume control Icon and can't get it back now. I have tried in my control panel but I have lost the program. Any Suggestions?

Answer:

All of the symptoms you are describing are symptoms of CO poisoning. The ER should have been able to determine this. CO has a cumulative effect and will concentrate in the body over time if you are not regularly in fresh air to expel it. I highly recommend a CO alarm. A lazy yellow flame on a gas heater is an indication of incomplete combustion and this will create much more CO than an efficient blue flame. You have a real cause for concern.
Call your local fire department. They inspect and usually sell fire extinquishers.
Iceman Also, I'd have the gas company come back out to check the system now if they refuse to light it, ask them to give you a written notice of why they would not light it. If you are burning natural gas, a yellow flame means that the burner is dirty and not getting enough air. This can lead to carbon monoxide problems. I'm not a doctor either, however, you might also have an allergy to natural gas or burning natural gas. Good luck
Winter flu for many is no more than carbon monoxide poisoning, do not use that heater. Get a pro who can bring in his detector and measure exact parts per million. Shame on your landlord.
