Question:

Why can't Indians hoist their flag?

I live in India, and am an Indian.I was told that I cannot put a flag on my car, or say on the roof of my building. Or in any other public setup. What is this pattern and what justification does it hold for patriots?

Answer:

Because it means that your place or possession is under the protection or ownership of the Indian government... You can waves flags at rally or special occasion, but there is some limitation to this right... It is not only in the US but many other countries also. Some tolerate it, but my guess is that the US don't...
the same thing happened in China. It is fear of ideas about the country. Fear that someone would deface that flag. Fear of ideas. Ideas challange what people believe as TRUTH It makes you think. They don't want that to happen.
this man fought for years to get the flag code changed to allow every indian to fly it - not just hte governemt.
You can. It's just disrespect to this country.
I do not know the laws of Indian--but in america,,some people say its disrespectful to this country,,(the U.S.)-to wave your own countries flag--- I dont beleive that,,Its disrespectful to burn ANY countries flag--people fought and died under that flag and we as people should respect that- Maybe in some countries the goverment feels that by promoting the flag,,it could be a target for terrorist,,agaist the beleifs of ur country or race.
