why choke or du/dt filter is used with vvvf drive of ac. motors?
i assume you mean a variable frequency drive. there are many applications that use a choke or the other filter you were talking about, either for a conveyor system that moves heavy pallets without having the pallets tilt over or to a roller coaster that monitors tension so peoples heads don't start falling off.
