Question:

Why do articles about work assume everyone works in an office?

Like articles about keeping healthy at work, or relating to your employer, or conflict with your employees always seem to assume people work in offices. So do most articles about management. There are a lot of people who don't work in offices. Excavator operators, hairdressers, shop managers, drywallers, construction workers, mining engineers, auto mechanics, machinists, millwrights, linemen, pilots, and golf course superintendents don't work in offices or they may have a desk, but don't really work there. These people are not necessarily unskilled. Many of them are well-trained, well-paid, and highly skilled.
