Yes and no. Knox's is just gelatin. Jello has colour, flavour, and sugar as well as gelatin. It would take some adjustment of ingredients to substitute though I suppose it could be done. But you'd be stuck with whatever flavour the Jello is.
One packet of Knox gelatin is the same as one box of the flavored Jell-O's (4serving size). To make your gelatin lime flavored, you will need to make a limeade .....you would then use that in place of any liquid used in your recipe. Keep in mind that your recipe called for sugar free lime jello which means it was sweetened with an artificial sweetener, so you are going to need to add sugar to your limeade. The recipe I have for limeade makes 2 cups of limeade and it is: 2 cups cold water 2 Tbs. lime juice 3 Tbs. white sugar. __________________________________ If you added one packet of Knox gelatin to the above ...then you would have natural lime jello.
