Question:

Why do we believe in countries?

Land on the planet has been divided into countriesCountries are man made entitiesThey exist because we invented themWe gave them names, a history and a people (mostly mythical)We stop people moving across imaginary boundaries and get people to fight for the made up construct of a nationAll wars are fought over a countries land and which nation or people should control itIt is very strange that the concept of a country is never really challenged in politicsWhy is this.?

Answer:

Well, they're very well made and a lot cheaper than a house or even some apartments, the only problems I see are the tornados that find them so attractive and the higher insurance rates for the owners of such that live in tornado alley.
Advantages are price, and a fast place to liveDisadvantages, In the south with hurricanes they wouldn't be the best ideaPlus in tornado country wouldn't be too goodWe looked at them last year they were cute and a good price compared to a stick built houseBut the quality isn't great.
Advantages are lower cost and tighter quality control in the manufacturing process Disadvantages are that cheaper building materials and methods are generally usedThere are size and shape limitationsWhatever gets pre-assembled has to be moved down some roads and streets to get to a homesite.
The politics of national sovereignty was solved centuries ago, and is no longer a point of discussion except in cases like Iran's nukes: does their national sovereignty override our right to be free from the fear of being nuked by crazy men who hang their enemies in the streets from lampposts and from cranes and from bridges so that the enemies still living get the messageWe are divided into nations because of political beliefsAmerica believed that it was time Mother England and her tyrannical King (who has since been said to have been mad from syphilis) gave us our freedom, or we would take it ourselvesThey fought, so we had to take itTo use the US as another example: We believe that when a man has been justly found guilty of raping a 13 year old girl, then he flees the country, that the country he goes to ought to give him backFrance and Switzerland obviously don't believe what we believe, so we hold on to our idea of our nationWe don't want to be like themWithout the Mexican-American border, the Mexican drug cartels would be operating here more than they already areNorway and other European nations have very strict regulations about who can come in as workers, in order to protect their own workers from losing their jobsIn the US we just let them come over the border and then say: Hey, they are already here, let them stayBesides, they may be illegally here but they had babies here, so let's not split up familiesNorway, Germany, and other nations think we are nuts for having that political attitudeThe people of nations are not mostly mythicalAre you a mythical American, or do you exist as a real American? Or are you saying that Americans are a myth because we are the same as Canadians and Japanese and Nigerians? Well, you're wrongIt comes down to beliefs, and we don't believe what they believe.
modular homes are actually sturdier because they all have to be loaded onto trucks and movedso they have to be able to support their weight while lifted by a cranenot too mention they cost lesshowever they arent worth as much.
