Why does my ABS braking system actuate at low speeds? Anyone know the fix?

My ABS braking system actuates at low speeds. my mechanic (a good one - I trust him) checked system (sensors) and is at a loss for the reason. I told him to disconnect the system. Braking is normal without ABS feature. Question: what is the cause the fix - anyone?

You may be interested to know that the reason magnetic field lines can't cross is mathematical not physical. It has to do with something called the existence and uniqueness theorem. Basically, the idea is that if you're given the differential equation describing the magnetic field and initial conditions, then the existance and uniqueness theorem says that there can only be one unique solution to that equation at each point in space. It can be shown that if magnetic field lines crossed, it would violate the existance and uniqueness theorem. Mainly the uniqueness part. :D
The three preceeding answers came close. Magnetic field lines can cross, or at least come together, in theory, just like electric field lines. Electric field lines only come together at a point charge, and there the field is singular (approaches infinity as you approach the point from any direction). There are plenty of point charges in nature (electrons, protons, etc)The analog of a point charge in the case of the magnetic field is a magnetic monopole. Since none have ever been found, there is no way that magnetic field lines can cross, or come together. Mathematically, the property that monopoles do not exist is expressed by the Maxwell equation that states that the divergence of the magnetic induction always equals zero. You may want to argue, yes, but what about a bar magnet? Don't the two magnetic poles behave just like opposite magnetic charges? The answer is, no, not quite. If I imagine a sphere and stick one end of a bar magnet into the sphere, I won't get a net magnetic flux through the surface of that sphere due to the pole inside it. The place where the surface cuts through the magnet is also magnetized and the surface just on the inside of the sphere carries a magnetic charge equal and opposite to the charge of the pole inside it, so that they cancel. There is no net flux, the total number of lines leaving the surface equals the number of lines entering it.
