Question:

Why does my car leak windshield wiper fluid when I try to spray it?

When I attempt to spray my windshield, only a small amount of fluid drips out of the nozzles and a ton leaks under the passenger side of the car under the engine/fluid tank. I may have attempted to use them in sub-freezing temps 1 time. It‘s not freezing anymore. This is happening on both of my cars.

Answer:

Windshield Washer Fluid Leak
Windshield Wiper Fluid Hose
only a small amount of fluid drips out of the nozzles usually indicates a plugged nozzle right at the windshield. and a ton leaks under the passenger side of the car under the engine/fluid tank. the fluid is trying to find a way out under pressure, and will take the path of least resistance. With the nozzles plugged, it probably found a crack in the line, or the rubber hose is coming off the fitting it slips over.
