Question:

Why doesnt my windshield wiper fluid pump squirt fluid like its supposed to?

I own a chevy blazer LS, i know nothing about cars but whenever, when i press the wash button its supposed to squirt fluid from the nozzles and the wiper blades engage to wipe the fluid over the windshield. The wiper blades only work when i press the button and i dont hear the pump work. I am able to wash the back window and i hear the pump working too. Is there an electrical problem?

Answer:

The spouts could be clogged or maybe there's a seperate resivoir for the front and back sprayers and the front may be empty, I'm not sure about blazers specifically.

it could be the fuse, the pump or it could be the little jets by the windshield stopped up ! your wipers and window washers are on the same handle on the steering wheel ! i have a 95 blazer and that,s the way mine is set up !
your supposed to fill it up with some new water
