Question:

Why don't orbiting objects eventually slow and collide with the planet?

I was watching Cosmos: A Personal Voyage, and noticed in one of the episodes that Carl Sagan spins a ball around a planet on a grid, showing the effect that mass has on space time. The ball eventually stopped and hit the planet. Was this because the ball was not travelling fast enough? But if it were traveling faster, it would've flown out completely. No matter how you look at it, that ball was bound to be ejected very quickly, or to stop very quickly. Is this caused by air resistance? If you were to perform the same experiment in space, would the ball continue circling indefinitely? I assume not, because the cloth provides resistance. Is it the resistance that stops the ball from spinning? The cloth is a representation of the gravity, but doesn't gravity have a similar if not identical effect? Can someone explain in layman's terms exactly how this works? I understand that the moon is essentially in an indefinite state of free fall, but again, what stops it from eventually colliding with the planet?

Answer:

You can and should drill the hole for the PVC drain fitting over the hole in the floor. All washer pans come with two indented hole areas, but you should forget about those and drill the hole over the drain. Also the fitting does not need to be dapped, it should come with a black rubber washer. After the hole is drilled, 1 1/8 hole saw bit will do, run the threaded side from the bottom, place rubber washer on then the metal ring, hand tight will do
You can't. BUT.. System Volume Information is where your System Restore files are located. Therefore, the virus is in your System Restore files which are basically locked by Windows so your security software cannot touch it, to remove the infected file. The solution is easy. You simply need to delete all your old system restore points. To do so: go to control panel system system restore check mark Turn off system restore on all drives apply answer yes OK reboot. Then turn System Restore back on again.
