Question:

Why don't they make gasoline powered vacuum cleaners?

nan

Answer:

They make them for outdoor use.
If they were used indoors, the exhaust fumes would be awful. There are gasoline-powered lawn vacuum machines, however, as well as lawn mowers.
There are diesel powered vacuum cleaners. Unlike gasoline engines, diesel engines do not make carbon monoxide. What I like best about my John Deere Acu-vac2000 is the there is no power cord to trip over.
Vacuum cleaners are used indoors. Therefore it is not advisable to use a gasoline powered vacuum cleaners due to exhaust gases from the engine, too much noise, and etc.
Because carbon monoxide and the smell of gasoline exhaust aren't good indoors, and all homes have electricity.
