Question:

Why dont cars have windshield wipers for the rear windows?

Maybe there are some vehicles that have them, but I can‘t recall seeing any. There are times when they would come in handy.

Answer:

The wiper on the rear upload extra fee to the vehicle,i.e. fee of twine, swap, water tank for storing water(for cleansing objective) and the wiper mechanism ,motor, fuses, relays. So generally purely costly vehicle have this good factors.
mine has one but it stopped working so i geared up the washer fluid on the back to shoot straight out instead of down so when people tailgate me my car pees on them. mines a 96 firefly stock with a wiper on the back its because wipers are made for keeping rain off your window so you can see the road while your driving. odds are your not driving down the road backwards you can still see headlights, etc through the rear window so whats the point in putting all that effort in to build a rear wiper when it'll rarely be needed?
There are a lot of them, - but not the cheap models, - rear wipers increase cost of car! Some even have wipers on the headlights too!
