It really hurts me how God loves everyone so much, but if you‘re gay you‘re automatically going to H*ll.I personally, am not gay. However, somebody I know and love very much is.This guy is one of the kindest people on the planet, very kind and giving. He is good to all people. Heis probably better than most straight people. But, because he fell in love with another boy, he isautomatically the worst person and deserves that? I know in the bible it apparently says that. But it‘sso hard to understand why God made them and how it‘s fair for that to happen. My mother has a gaycousin who is also supposed to be very nice. He cared for his sick mother for years and took her inwhen her other 5 STRAIGHT kids ignored her. So whyy do they get the glory and he gets hell,because he likes guys? And dont say its a choice, because i know it tears some people apart toknow they are and they want to not be, hence they stayed in the closet? thanks. .
God set a standard of morality and laws. He gave you free will to chose to rebel or follow him. Even a straight man who lies or fornicator will not enter Heaven but by Christ/repent-ens. You are FREE to chose God or your lust/world love. Homosexuality is a sin just like a lie in the Bible. KevinL Satan would say God would want everyone to be happy and lead productive lives that make society better. If it is against God it is not from God but the enemy of God.
A combination of fear of the unfamiliar, and an overly simplistic view of the world leading to a preference for literalism. In actuality, though, if you do some research, you'll find there are actually fairly plausible arguments suggesting that the Bible was never supposed to say anything on the subject of sexuality.
Look, the Bible says a lot of things are sin. Apparently shellfish and mixed-cloth fabrics are an abomination. Not even eating shellfish, but shellfish THEMSELVES are abominations! So are we supposed to wage war on the Atlantic Ocean? If you've ever worn polyester, then you're an abomination too. So by that logic, 95% of the population is going to Hell. If God really exists, he would want everyone to be happy and lead productive lives that make society better. End of story. Any other God is one that I'm not interested in worshiping.
