Question:

Why is Gary Johnson not getting enough press?

I would not bomb Iran. I would get out of Afghanistan tomorrow, bring the troops home. I believe that marriage equality is a constitutionally guaranteed right. I would advocate legalizing marijuana now. I would have never signed the Patriot Act I would have never signed the National Defense Authorization Act allowing for arrests and detainment of you and me as U.S. citizens without being charged. I believe we need to balance the federal budget now and that means a $1.4 trillion reduction in federal spending now.~Gary JohnsonExplain to me why this guy, who has held 2 terms as governor of New Mexico, left the state with a 1 billion dollar surplus, not getting the press he deserves? He has more executive experience than Obama and Romney combined. (and he climbed mount Everest with a broken leg)Why are you all being brainwashed into thinking we have no third option?

Answer:

The risk of split-ticket voting weighs more in the mind of a voter, especially this time around, when the stakes are much higher than usual. I believe it's time for runoff voting, but there's very little chance of that happening anytime soon. Otherwise, I'd vote for Dr. Jill Stein. Trying to pass fair voting would fail terribly in these times, but at least it would bring the two parties together momentarily to ensure their grip on the voter base...
He ran as a Republican at first, and didn't get any delegates. Romney won. And no, he really doesn't have more executive experience than Romney. Say whatever you want about Bain Capital, but it was one of the most successful capital firms in history, and he was the head of it. Unfortunately, in reality, there is no third option. He can't, and won't win. There's two parties in this country - one left wing, and one slightly more left wing. Like it or not, that's all we have for now. Edit* Touche, good sir. Touche.
Who's Gary Johnson
Because he has ABSOLUTELY NO CHANCE OF WINNING, like it or not. There is no conspiracy, there is no collusion, there is no cabal; it is that he has no chance of winning. If he actually polled better than 15% in a SCIENTIFIC POLL, not just a easy-to-skew internet poll, he might get some coverage. But as the vast majority of Americans are only interested in the 2 major candidates, there is no reason to report on him.
If he wants a lot of press coverage, then he needs to get himself arrested at the next debate, then he will get lots of press coverage, the way the Green Party candidate got press coverage when she was arrested at the last debate.
