Question:

Why is my 2006 dodge durango power brake system not working?

I was installing new spark plugs on my car. When I finished installing the plugs the power brakes weren‘t working. Is there something I accidentally disconnected near the plugs?

Answer:

you could have knocked the line for the brake booster booster off on it that would make it do that,id go back over it and see if anything looked out of place, and you may hear a vacuum noise from it when its running if there is a hose knocked loose also, good luck with it.
The vacuum booster is mounted on the driver side of the firewall directly behind (and attached to) the master cylinder. There should be a hose coming off of that booster running to the engine's intake manifold. If this hose has come loose or been damaged it will cause a loss of power brakes. But if this were the case you would also notice that the engine isn't running quite right, since there would be a considerable vacuum leak.
