Question:

Why is'nt aluminium used on cars if its used on planes?

I know that cars are made of steel but why arnt they made of aliminuim like planes?

Answer:

Aluminum is on a strength per strength basis is about 1/2 the weight and twice the cost as steel Also, steel is much more resilient than aluminumWith a typical force that an auto chassis may typically face most aluminum features would deformYou can use aluminum in many applications for carsThey have to be cases where the shape wont change much due to having an ability to design the parts to be really robust Aluminum wheels are easy to think about because there's a definate performance enhancement because autos will have less 'unsprung weight' on the shock absorbers and springsThere would also be less wear and tear on the clutch compared to steel wheels
A foam mattress, towels , flashlight, bug repelent, firstaid kit, tecnu, (for poison oak) lantern, lots of fire wood, water, garbage bags, tampons(just in case) shampoosoapsunscreen, money, toilet paper shovel rakeI probably forgot a few things but thats what the money is forOh Ya! Marshmallows and sticks to put them onHave fun.
Water! Water! Water! MRE's, emergency first aid kit roadside kit, snakebite kit, bug spray, cellphone, blow up mattress ( I prefer it just because I have this stupid fear of bugs/scorpions crawling in ears and laying eggs in my brain) maps (both for the road and for whatever mountain or desert you are staying in), matches, toilet paper, a side arm, sunscreen, spare tire, flashlight, extra batteries, charger for your phone, water, Gatorade, protein bars, change of socks and undies, I would also suggest signing in with the rangers just so they know where you areFoods that won't spoil i.e., milk, eggs,.unless you are prepared for storing perishablesI would even say that whatever you ending taking with you take two just for back up.like flashlights, toilet paper.alot of it also depends on where you are going camping tooSome places like state parks provide alot for you tooLike bathrooms and showerstalls and grilling pits outlets.so if you are going ot a statepark you might go to their websites to find out if they offer thoseBut I can not stress the importance of waterEven ifyou are going to the mountains and think its not going to be hot you will still dehydrateSo drink plenty of waterThe same goes for your pets if you are taking themThats all I can think of right nowwater, food, bedding, first aid, sun protection, change of clothes, personal protection (cell phone, batteries charger .) maps, do a little research of the place you will be staying before you go .how far is the nearest ranger station, how near is the nearest hospital and so on.
Really depends on a lot of factorsWhere are you going? What will you be doing? Tent, RV? Are you alone or with others? How much cooking do you want to do and will others be helping? Space? Camp activities and will you be on site must of the time or is the area simply a place to come back to and sleep? When I go camping first I decide where I am headed, for how long, and what I will be doing the majority of the timeThat give me a place to start planning what to take a longMy idea of camping is to enjoy myself, not to spend my time loading and unloading thingsKeep it simpleIf your not sure you will use it don't take it.
It depends where ur going and for how long.soooo tent sleeping bags, pillows food, water, aspirin flashlight matches a map would be good if ur not sure where ur going and just have a wonderful time .
